CrewConnect

What is CrewConnect?

CrewConnect is PDI’s first iOS application! In the field, Supers and Foremen use the app to scan crew members, track incidents, and offer reward points.

Scans

At the beginning of the work day, Supers and Foreman scan each crew member in lieu of using the sign-in sheet. Scanning throughout the week provides a roster of workers to both PDI and the general contractor. Scans can be done through facial recognition, by scanning badges through NFC (near field communication) technology or by using the QR code on the back of the badge.

Rewards

Build loyalty and enhance performance by incentivizing crew members with a point-based rewards program. Rewards can be assigned to workers through their profiles for a variety different behaviors and actions. Reward points are then redeemable for tools and other gear.

PDI Rewards are now available! Learn more about rewarding PDI team members through CrewConnect and rave here.

Incidents

Supers can enter incidents under a workers profile to keep an accurate, meaningful record of safety violations and other issues.

Badges

Badge requests are created for each crew member when their profile is created in the app. Badges are printed in Logistics and are sent to job sites with the PMs. If no team member is visiting the job site soon then the badges can be returned to Logistics with a shipping label to be mailed.

Information on how to use the badges can be found on page 11 of the Help Guide.
