Information Security – Phish Alert Button
Introducing the Phish Alert button in Outlook!
The Phish Alert button is now in the Outlook ribbon under the Home tab.
Click the button when you suspect an email is spam to send it to PDI HelpDesk instead of manually forwarding the email. It also automatically moves the email to your Deleted folder.
We’ve received over 450 suspected phishing alerts since launching the button three weeks ago! Thank you for making PDI more secure.
Keep in mind, if an email makes it to your Junk mailbox, there’s no need to forward, our Outlook filters are doing their job. Also, if it’s only an unsolicited marketing email, you don’t need to forward unless you suspect it’s malicious.
