OUT OF OFFICE PROCEDURES

What should I do when I’m going to be out of the office?

  • If you have planned PTO that your manager has approved, then you just need to make sure that relevant work activities or deadlines are taken care of and that you set your out of office message on your email and phone.
  • If you are unexpectedly absent, you should:
    • Call or email your manager (a voicemail message is an acceptable notification).

Standard out of office voicemail and email message
